NZ Post Launches Hyperlocal OOH Campaign to Help Kiwis Find Nearby Branches
NZ Post has rolled out a new hyperlocal out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign across New Zealand, designed to help customers quickly locate their nearest post shop following updates to its nationwide retail network. Developed by Thinkerbell Aotearoa, the campaign transforms everyday wayfinding into a creative outdoor experience using location-specific messaging and visually engaging directional designs.
With more than 560 NZ Post retail outlets operating across the country, the campaign focuses on one simple message — wherever people are in New Zealand, a post shop is always close by.

The OOH campaign uses NZ Post’s signature branding elements to create flowing graphic pathways across billboards, bus shelters, and street furniture. These creative visuals guide audiences toward nearby branches using contextual phrases such as “We’re just around the corner” and “We’re across the river.”
One of the standout features of the campaign is its strong hyperlocal execution. Instead of relying on a single nationwide creative, the brand developed more than 250 customised OOH designs tailored to the geography and surroundings of individual branch locations.
By adapting each advertisement to its local environment, NZ Post has created a campaign that feels more relevant, personal, and community-focused for viewers across different regions.
The campaign highlights how hyperlocal OOH advertising can strengthen customer connection while improving real-world accessibility through smart, location-based storytelling.
