JCDecaux Unveils AI-Driven Digital Displays and Tech-Forward “Le Bus Shelter” for VivaTech 2026

PARIS — June 15, 2026 — Outdoor advertising giant JCDecaux is gearing up for the 10th edition of VivaTech with a fresh lineup of sustainable and high-tech urban innovations. Running from June 17 to 20 in Paris, the company will showcase how it is reshaping the future of connected cities and digital media.

“Le Bus Shelter” Takes Center Stage

The highlight of JCDecaux’s exhibition is a complete reimagining of its iconic bus shelter. No longer just a place to wait for a ride, “Le Bus Shelter” has been converted into an all-in-one urban services hub designed to help cities adapt to modern challenges.

The new hub can be customized with several modular features:

Heatwave Relief: Features a patented purified-water misting system and a natural “Filtreo” cooling module to lower local temperatures.

Real-Time Signage: A high-mounted LED screen displays clear, long-distance readable bus arrivals and travel updates.

Safety & Tech: Equipped with an emergency contact point, a defibrillator, environmental sensors, public Wi-Fi, solar panels, and even a drone module.

Unlocking “Unlimited DOOH”

Beyond hardware, JCDecaux is pushing the boundaries of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising with its “Unlimited DOOH” setup. The booth will feature a massive, 13-square-meter 4K LED screen running immersive, AI-assisted digital artwork. The goal is to show brands, creative studios, and transit partners exactly how tech and creativity can merge to build memorable experiences for the public.

A Continuing Vision

According to Jean-Charles Decaux, Chairman of the Executive Board, the move builds directly on the company’s original founding principles: using public media as a tool to genuinely improve daily city life.

“By evolving our iconic bus shelter and pushing the boundaries of DOOH using new technologies, we are extending Jean-Claude Decaux’s founding vision: turning our media into a concrete lever for improving city life for everyone…”

Today, JCDecaux operates as the world’s top outdoor advertising company, bringing in €3,967.1 million in revenue in 2025 and reaching a daily global audience of 850 million people across 79 countries.
