Ocean Outdoor Announces 2026 ‘Drops in the Ocean’ Conservation Partners
Ocean Outdoor has officially named the six environmental charities and non-profit organizations selected as its 2026 “Drops in the Ocean” partners. Now in its fifth year, this initiative will provide these organizations with high-impact advertising space across Ocean’s premium Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) network in 18 UK cities.
By pledging 2% of its annual reported revenue in the form of advertising value, Ocean Outdoor aims to amplify the reach of frontline conservation and climate change projects. To date, the program has donated nearly £9 million in screen value to 25 different non-profits.

The six beneficiaries selected for 2026 reflect a diverse range of environmental focus areas, from local urban wildlife to global reforestation and marine protection:
-
London Wildlife Trust: Focuses on protecting and restoring nature across the capital, ensuring that Londoners can recognize and champion the biodiversity in their own neighborhoods.
-
Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust: Based in Scotland, this organization conducts long-term monitoring of marine life to create robust datasets that inform policymakers and conservation bodies.
-
Justdiggit: A long-term partner dedicated to cooling down the planet by regreening degraded African landscapes, transforming vulnerable ecosystems into productive environments.

-
Word Forest: A Devon-based charity that focuses on reforestation in Kenya, planting over 1.5 million trees to assist in atmospheric decarbonization and support local communities.
Industry Impact & Strategy
Shona Dobson, Senior Marketing Manager at Ocean Outdoor, described 2026 as a “transformational year” for the initiative:
“Drops in the Ocean is about reconnecting us all to the natural world. This year, we are developing the scale and reach of the program to give a front seat to projects that safeguard wildlife, protect marine life, and advance the right to sustainable clean water.”
The campaigns are set to roll out across iconic locations, including the Canary Wharf Loop and the BFI IMAX, leveraging Ocean’s full-motion capabilities to drive public affinity and fundraising. Previous partners, such as the World Land Trust, reported a 199% increase in website traffic following their participation, highlighting the tangible success of this pro-bono model.
